1. Great content all around - D&D is a great game to play with just about anyone but you honestly don’t even have to play it, or even have heard of it before, to enjoy this podcast. The Adventure Zone has a little bit of everything, from goofy moments to sadder moments that really makes you feel for the characters. The storyline is also extremely interesting and easy to follow. There’s a reason this podcast has only gotten star reviews; it’s just that good.

3. You need this in your life - This podcast is genius on so many levels it's hard to put it into words. You don't have to know anything about Dungeons and Dragons before listening, allthough it's easier to tell the boys voices apart if you've watched some of the McElroys visual content beforehand. Griffin is an absolutely amazing DM in so many ways and the characters, both NPCs and PCs are so colorful and relatable you can't help but love every single one of them. Griffin singlehandedly creates more three-dimentional and realistic female, non-binary and queer characters than the entire movie and game industry combined. The story is a perfect mix of serious and goofy - one second you're laughing and then the next you're crying. The soundtrack is also amazing and the editing makes this podcast an incredibly immersive experience. Sooo many hilarious one-liners and inside jokes and on top of that they treat their fans really well and give fanartists the credit and respect they deserve. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

1. An excellent podcast with a great first season! - I’m a Spotify listener who recently finished season one of Y’all of Cthulhu. Since Spotify doesn’t have reviews I figured I’d come over here to share my praise for the entire season! In short I’d definitely recommend Y’all of Cthulhu to anyone who enjoys actual-play podcast. The characters and setting had me hooked from the first episode and together with the excellent story and storytelling the show quickly became one of my all time favourite podcasts. The show’s high production value also had me impressed from the very start. The whole cast is both talented and likeable and manages to be funny without breaking the tension and spookyness of the cosmic horror. Finally, as a DM/GM/Keeper myself I’m especially impressed with Cup’s detailed descriptions of the game-world. They remind me of reading passages in Lord of the Rings and has inspired my own GMing greatly!

2. Chef’s kiss - The best acctuall play Call of Cthulhu podcast I have listened to. Period. Well produced, great story, great Characters, a really great pace from a great Keeper. Did I use ’great’ too many times? Not possible! That it is Down Darker Trails is just icing on the cake. Only downside is that it is a monthly show. Pick up the pace damnit!

1. Acker and Blacker are geniuses! - Acker and Blacker created the ultimate modern reinterpretation of classic radio theatre. 'Sparks Nevada – Marshal on Mars’ and ‘Beyond Belief’ clink! are the two star-studded bookending tales, with loads of great somewhat smaller stories in between. Including some fake commercials. Some great crossovers occur from time to time, as well as some hilarious mistakes every now and then.
