1. Nice comback from talented singer - Mr LeMarc has produced a nice mix of songs, most of them themed around life together and what happens after a period, when lust has turned to longing and passion (hopefully) becomes profound. LeMarc also sings about coming back from depression, or something like it, and he does it in a strong, powerful way that those equally affected seem to recognize and appreciate. Now, all this can be ignored, for the quality of his voice makes all songs valuable no matter content. That is just an extra bonus. Personal favourite: Bara när jag blundar

2. Underbar platta! - Vilken underbar platta Peter har gjort! Starka melodier som vanligt med texter och sång som berör in till märgen. Samtidigt som den är lekfull och positiv finns det stunder av allvar och tid för eftertanke. När jag lyssnar på det avslutande, stämningsfulla titelspåret är tårarna inte långt borta.

1. Bare to the bone beautiful - Songs produced during the synthcrazed days of the s and s deserve a second chance. For while they may have been hits then, today most wouldn t be caught dead listenting to them. And the composer might also want to give them the once over. And if every such attempt was as successfull as this, then we would need no new songs! Fresh, clean, personal, high quality songs from a golden voice that really comes out in this bare production, slower, closer and absolutely breath taking at times. 1. Hypnotic soul from Mali! - This record is the one I ve been playing the most the last month. Every sound is filtered by Manu Chao and you can really feel his spirit on the record. Afropop which takes you deep down to the streets of Bamako and you can hear the sounds and feel the heat of the African sun.
