1. Love this or die - I just love this mix of heavy metal and boogie rock ’n’ roll with the firm Elvis-ringing voice on top. It sounds so familiar and yet I had never heard the songs a few weeks ago. I thought I was going to get a little bit fed up after a while like eating too much cake but it didn’t happen. Discovering Volbeat was like finding out that AC/DC happened to play at the local after-ski! Priceless! Happy Metal for ever!

1. Black Cloud & Silver Linings - When i but on a new Dream Theater album the question in my mind is always "How are they going to do this better?" and everytime I get the same answer "Oh my god!" This album is really a god mix of the past and the present Dream Theater. And i love every minute of it. The wonderful ballad Wither, the cool and "twisty" Count of Tuscany and every other song in this album makes me feel the music. out of whas never a question, it was a necessity

2. No doubt.. - Note: Just bought the album, have not listened to everything more than twice There is no doubt that Dream Theater stays on the forefront of there genre and leads it forward! With this album they do like, everything. The new riffs and base lines are mostly playfull, quite simple (though proggy in another sense) and rythmic, which is fresh. Percussion is as always spot on and progg as hell, which adds another dimension of listening. On the vocals, LaBrie has found a good balance between "Train of Thought" and "Images and Words". It is really impressive hearing him on the singing soul! Together with the new stuff, they and bring back ear-candy from Train of Thought and other older material in new arrangements! As a long time listener to DT, I find this album will grow on us listeners like A Scenes from a Memory. It will take me about full album runs to fully apriciate and enjoy this album, but I know I will only love it more and more :) That's the buty with progressive metall. This album is soooo much music for the money. So worth it!

1. A true masterpiece and one of Opeth's best! - Opeth continue their path towards a more dynamic and melodical musical landscape. And what a true gem they've created with Pale Communion! Such fantastic tracks! They've matured musically in a way I never expected them to do. It was present on their earlier albums but now it's fully bloomed. Congratulations Opeth! You've created a true gem and I really recommend other people to give it a listen.
