1. Fascinating, entertaining and educational - The topics stay surprising and interesting, the touch of humour lightens up even the least joyful episodes, the production is exquisite, and Roman Mars has the best podcast voice. I’m hooked. Late to the party which gives me the great pleasure of listening back all the way till

2. Brilliant and interesting - This is an amazing series. The subjects are interesting things we hardly notice anymore. The stories of those subjects are of the type that makes you want to talk about it to other people (whether they want to or not ). I really love it when Roman laughs quietly when something amuses him.

3. One of the best podcasts there is. - This is one of the best podcasts there is. Roman Mars tells fascinating, well-structured stories. It concerns design but it takes a broad approach, addresssing a host of issues from why most doors are designed poorly to space junk and the flags of American states and cities.

4. Really good - I can definitely recommend this podcast to other people. The style, the sounds, the in depth research and the intruiging stories all come together to form short, unique stories that you will remember for a long time, while at the same time learning about the world around you. Every aspect of modern life began with an idea, percent invisible makes you understand them.

5. Send help. I'm hooked - Ever since I saw % Invisible founder Roman Mars' TED talk, I've been binging this radio show. As a graphic designer working solo, this is the ideal listening material for me. It's intelligent, interesting and entertaining. The pacing makes it easy to zone in our out from. And its sound rich: ambient noises pleasingly mixed with ambient music flavour the items in a unique way.

6. so good - Roman Mars' voice is just so good to listen to before going to bed. And when waking up, to make sure you haven't actually missed half of his briliant podcast. And then you go back to find out which songs are playing on the background and listen to those until the next episode arrives. It's just soooo goooooood.
2012-11-05
7. Exactly what I was looking for - I've never really done the whole podcast listening thing before, so I asked Twitter for a highly specific kind of podcast - "one where they just freak out about the design of a specific building or space every episode". Soon it became apparent that this was a real thing; % Invisible. % Invisible enthusiastically covers things that you'd probably never notice otherwise. Not just buildings or places; but objects, music and people as well. All things you probably would never have noticed otherwise. All things with hidden, compelling histories.

1. Sooo funny & relatable - Do you ever feel like you are stuck in your creative career and don’t know what direction to go to? Andy leads the way with integrity, helpful information and great guests. And I love his jokes! We all have a tender spot in which we are vulnerable as an artist. Andy isn’t afraid to adress all your creative fears and see things in a different way. Get new insights, little gems that will get you started in no time! I’m a starting artist from the Netherlands and I’m listening for years… I have become a Patreon backer. These (free) podcasts are great value, and I really want to support them. @maschasiekkotter

2. Mindset shift - It’s about time I write down some compliments about Andy and CPT. After a whirlwind of tough years I almost had given up on myself. At the beginning of this year I decided I’d give myself a new chance. Andy and CPT have been a large influence in helping to keep me going and to help me shift my old ways of thinking into a new mindset of staying active and figure out how to approach obstacles and turn them into oppertunities. There’s stil a long way to go but I’m really grateful how CPT has helped me to where I am right now. Andy is open, honest, realistic, and know’s what your going through. He has a very heartfelt way of sharing his own knowledge and experience. Thank you Andy!

3. Valuable and very funny creative pep! - With Andy J. Pizza I find myself laughing out loud and heavily emphasising with his advices on my bike travels to work. A job that I will certainly escape from to thrive as an artist one day now that I have Andy in my ears.
If you already have a little bit of courage yourself and determined to do the work to reach your creative goals, Andy offers enormous value each week and will keep you pepped up!

4. inspiring and funny and metaphoric - About months ago, I first learned about the land of podcasts. When I asked my artist friends what podcast to listen to, they recommended me to listen to the Creative Pep Talk. At first, I had to get used to the rapid and energized talking of the host dr. Andy J. Pizza , but once I got through this, I started to love it. I'm enjoying the tips and insights but most of all; the metaphors that are used. They're often funny and/or clever, and I guess that's why they stick with me. Some subjects tend to come back in new episodes, but usually they're in a different context.
This is the perfect podcast for illustrators and designers when you're in need of some inspiration, motivation, or background stories from the host and the many creatives he interviewed so far. Great stuff to listen to while working on some new artwork myself
2018-11-22
5. Just started listening and I’m already hooked! - These episodes are just awesome. Sometimes it feels like you’re describing my exact life or struggles as an illustrator. I’m loving the tips, your insights and just the way you share your journey and experiences with us listeners. I’m going to continue binge listening now. Shout out from Amsterdam!

6. Side Quests Work - I came across this podcast when I was browsing on Kickstarter and found the workbook Andy is promoting at the moment. Coincidentally, I was browsing for inspiration for what I now know is called a Side Quest. I’m five years into my creative career and looking back to how I started getting graphic design work, I find it’s through a side quest I did. I started making a small zine, which later grew out to be more of a limited edition indie mag and even got a award at some point. BUT: because I made that zine, a writer came to me and asked me to do his book design. And after that a music festival approached me to do a zine for their programming. Two years later they asked me to do their entire branding. And so on and so fort. This idea is totally legit and I would recommend anyone who is just starting out or having somewhat of a creative entrepreneurial block to visit or revisit the tactics talked about in this podcast. Thanks for sharing, Andy!

7. making art, paying the rent and still being happy - So, I've been listening at least two years straight, I'm a Patreon supporter, but I didn't take the time to write a review so far. This is my favourite podcast in Art & Business-land - it is real, there is no facade. Andy is an amazing storyteller, he mixes all the metaphors in a surprising way and it works! Maybe you've heard the advice he gives already, but he gives it in a way that you cannot ignore it. I can relate to him, I am a filmmaker, I really love what I do but I've been struggling some times with making authentic personal work, making work that pays my bills, and finding a sweet spot in this. It is just a great, encouraging, energetic podcast, and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to listen to me.

8. Inspiring and helpfull - I just listened to the last episode, my first, episode , and it was so good! Also very helpfull. The tip to not go for the nr. in the market, but a top somewhere in the middle. Why didn't I come up with that? :-D Thanks Andy! I will listen to more of your podcast during preparing my files.

9. The pepperoni on my dull margherita - I came across this podcast through the Seanwes Community and it's truly fantastic. I like the humor, Andy's voice and last but certainly not least the content of this podcast. It delivers on it's promise, giving a creative peptalk. Being a creative is not easy. I'm often struggling with self doubt, imposter syndrome, thinking my work is worthless, people won't value it, ... etc. Something every creatives goes through I guess. I listen to this podcast on my commute to my dayjob every day and it makes me happy, gets me motivated and inspired. And that's worth a whole bunch. Thanks Andy J. Miller, Andy J. Pizza, Dr. Pizza (wait no one calls you that, right?) for being the pepperoni on my sometimes dull margherita.

10. Serious, inspiring and accessible - At the end of I discovered the Creative Peptalk. I immediately loved this podcast and I find it inspiring in many ways. Andy J. Miller talks about the struggles you have being a professional in the creative industrie. While sharing his own insights, experiences and ideas, he challenges you to think about what you want to accomplish and discover your own path (career). A very inspiring and fun podcast to listen too. Thank you for making them!
2016-05-17
11. Deep and fun the same time - I’ve been listening to Andy on the Creative Peptalk for some months now. I keep coming back, because he makes every topic very accessible. He talks a lot about out mindset and barriers as artists and humans, some very deep things, but the way he talks is fun and light. I’ve got some great insights, nice laughs and some truly good info from the show. Go Andy! :)

12. Relationships - First off, this is the first podcast I can actually listen to without tuning out midway. So thank you very much for that :) it means that the content is gripping me and holding me at just the right moments. As for the Relationships episode, I was intrigued by the topic, because I just started a bunch of illustrations based on this theme. So I loved the content. The learning aspect (siblings and colleagues), the topic of letting others grow through you, it's awesome. The only thing I disagreed with was the 'not having gone to the UK' part. I think that if you're open for it, you can meet great people and help others achieve greatness no matter where you are. College in Columbia or art school in the UK. But overall I love the podcasts! Thank you for making them!

4. Super leuke podcast over design…
