1. my most favourite show of all time - i never could listen to true crime podcasts without being horrified and traumatised but aishwarya and aryaan here are narrating true crime stories without the unwanted stabbing and screaming sound effects and not only is it entertaining, but also, its helping people identify red flags, which in someway is definitely going to stop people from getting into difficult situations like the ones described in the podcast. a dark sense of humor mixed with a deep love for true crime and sympathy and a sense of wanting to get victim families justice is what makes the desi crime podcast extremely special. the way the cases are narrated, it’s amazing. i would say the gurugram murder case was one of the finest cases that they’ve covered. there’s burari, too. they get better with every episode, the quality of the effort they’re putting into this podcast increases with every episode. im super proud of aishwarya and aryaan as a fellow indian. kudos to their podcast and youtube channel (go check it out if you haven’t already!!!!!!)

2. From one Aishwarya to another… - Having been a junkie of crime podcasts and YouTube channels, I have always been yearning for desi content. When I stumbled across the Desi Crime Podcasts, I could help but binge hear all the episodes and boy was I hooked. Aryaan and Aishwarya have a great knack for storytelling and keep you on the edge until the very end. Can’t wait for new episodes to upload. Great great love for hosts and a thank you for opening the horizons for Desi Crimes…

3. FINALLY AN ENGLISH DESI TRUE CRIME PODCAST - Aaryaan and Aishwarya have mastered the art of getting better every episode that they make. Whilst mixing it up with human stories on their monthly chai and chitti episodes, they keep the original true crime vibe intact by narrating known and unknown gruesome, brutal and messed up crime stories. The writing keeps getting better and that is what makes it so good. I hope they never find their ideal podcast and always keep improving.

4. WORKOUT BUDDY- - This is hands down some gold that I’ve landed on. There so many reasons that I love this podcast, but I’m going to list down my top reasons below: . I love crime/horror podcasts/stories and this is it guys, this one checks all the boxes . The cases that come up aren’t always the most famous one’s which means that they put only the most well researched ones on this. And you will know that if you pick any one of the episodes . This is my perfect workout buddy and has been helping me stay consistent in my journey to workout everyday. The episodes are usually - mins long and perfect for one sesh. If I get too lazy I just scroll to find one episode that would help me get out and get it done. I look forward to the new episodes! Now I am just hearing all the episodes all over again until a new one shows up . Other than the above, both Aishwarya and Aryaan are really great at delivering the heart of every incident of someone’s story, someone’s life. Love the podcast and the hosts!

6. My first podcast, definitely one of my favourites - I began listening to podcasts only recently, and this was the first. I listened to all the episodes back to back, while working, while walking my dog, while driving. It remains my favourite, though I definitely wish they had more episodes a week, ha, ha. I’m not a fan of Chai aur charcha, so skipping those episodes leaves a larger gap. Please don’t stop!

7. I downloaded this app just for this podcast! - Absolutely in love with the thrill and magnitude of emotions Aryaan and Aishwarya convey, the stories are no longer stories- they echo somewhere!
Ever since I switched to apple, the only reason I have the podcasts app is because I want to listen to them.
This was the first podcast I ever heard, and the only podcast I’m hooked to!

13. My travel companion - I take hours to travel from college to home and the podcasts are all that keep me company. Time flies by fast and I have the best companion. I can’t get enough of the podcasts… I have always been a true crime junkie and would always find it extremely challenging to find authentic and detailed information about cases. Until… I found the “Desi Crime” page on Spotify and then their Instagram page and then the YouTube and then Apple Podcasts. I can’t get enough of the cases they cover. With Aishwariya’s and Aryans interactions and questions they ask each other while the other is telling the case details. I love every part of it.

15. True crime junkies would love this podcast. - If you're a true crime enthusiast and haven't checked out "Desi Crime" yet, you're missing out on something amazing. This gripping podcast, hosted by Aryaan and Aishwarya, delves deep into some of the most intriguing criminal cases. Every Saturday, Aaryan and Aishwarya release a new episode that's well-researched, informative, and entertaining. Their storytelling is top-notch, and they have a knack for keeping you hooked until the very end. Their insights into the cases are insightful, and they explore all angles of the story, leaving no stone unturned. One of the highlights of the show is their segment called "Chai & Chitthi," where they share audience's horror stories. It adds a personal touch to the show and makes it all the more relatable. You feel like you're a part of the conversation, and it's easy to get lost in their fascinating tales. I eagerly await every new episode of "Desi Crime," and it never fails to disappoint. Aryaan and Aishwarya are an amazing team, and they have a great chemistry that makes the podcast all the more enjoyable. 17. Must Listen! - I recently started listening to "The Desi Crime" podcast, and I have to say it's a fantastic true crime podcast. The hosts Aryan and Aishwarya have great chemistry, and their approach to storytelling is unique and engaging. Love how they cover lesser-known crimes from the Indian subcontinent, providing in-depth research and analysis of the cases. The sound quality and editing of the podcast are excellent, and the pacing of each episode is just right. Aryan and Aishwarya's passion for true crime is evident, and their dedication to providing listeners with accurate and thought-provoking accounts of the cases is commendable. Overall, "The Desi Crime" is a must-listen for true crime enthusiasts who want to explore cases from the Indian subcontinent. Aryan and Aishwarya are a dynamic duo, and their podcast is a great addition to the genre. Highly recommended!

5. This is now my favorite podcast! - I’ve been trying to get into podcast but since I’m a very visual person and English is not my mother language, I always ended up getting distracted or didn’t pay much attention to it, but Stephanie is the only person that can tell a story and pull me in! I watch every single episode as soon as it comes out. I understand her very clearly and besides her podcast, I also love her YouTube videos! Keep up the good work! I appreciate it a lot!
2020-07-04
6. I love it - I always loved the way Stephanie narrates the story , it’s creepy, yet, it’s not too creepy. And , obviously, her fiancé taking part in it is also very much appreciated. His side “in China” and his short horror stories are very much appreciated Happy that Stephanie created a podcast
2020-06-13
7. Best Storyteller - Stephanie is one of the best storytellers I have ever came across. This is definitely the best thing; listening to Steph’s stories, while her narration is engaging and Stephiance just converses wIth the questions we have have in our mind. It’s like having (we are) a conversation with her and not just a monologue.

1. Love how they narrate and keep you on the edge of your seat - I have been a long term fan of this podcast and everything Brit and Ashley do! This podcast is so well researched and narrated that it truly keeps you on the edge of your seat! I also love how you can prevent these things from happening to you and their little insights and responses on these story!
2021-11-01
2. Political correctness podcast - This is what this podcast is, a nauseating attempt to be politically correct at all times. It panders to the homosexual community and others. Laudable at times to highlight the injustice these communities sometimes face, but this podcast shoves it in your face. Not worth your time, there are other better podcasts out there.
2021-06-28
3. It’s amazing and I’m in love with it!!!!!!! - So ya this is like one of the most amazing, fabulous, amazing (I don’t even have enough adjectives to describe it) crime podcasts I have ever listened to.... Every single thing is just perfect ...I can literally listen to it all day long....I simply love it ..... I love you guys just please never stop.... you are simply extraordinary and exceptional.....

5. Ash & Brit feel like close friends - I am obsessed with Ashley and Brit’s voices. The way they interact and tell stories truly makes you feel like you’re with a group of old friends. The audio quality is superb and the stories are amazing. % recommend for anyone who is into true crime. Each episode gives you the satisfaction of having seen a thriller movie (and the sleeplessness :P) Can’t wait for the next episode, love from India ps. Would love it if you covered an international case

6. One of the best true crime podcasts - I was introduced to this genre through this podcast and after trying to listen to many other true crime podcasts, I realised that I’ve never been able to find any that were as good as this one. The narrative style of the host Ashley Flowers is brilliant and I’m sure is the one that’ll hook you to this podcast
2020-11-08
7. My absolute favourite podcast - Crime Junkie is the first podcast I really started listening to and after one episode, I was hooked. Ashley and Britt are articulate and informed but at the same time not monotonous like crime podcasts tend to be. They’re engaging, at times funny (how they manage to insert funny commentary while narrating the most horrific of crimes, you’ll have to listen to find out!) and their clear pronunciation and impeccable intonation is truly a joy to listen to! Though they cover unsolved cases that are intriguing and thrilling which I love, my personal favourite are those cases that have some sort of closure and this podcast has plenty of them too!
I don’t think I’ve written a review for anything ever but this podcast is just too good to miss out on so just, listen to it. Right now. Can you tell I really love this podcast yet? Lots and lots of love from India
2019-06-29
8. Full body chills - Their friendship is goals. They have been friends since childhood and both are equally crime junkies. They have the best narration and sometimes you can feel them actually being hurt when they read something awful that has happened. Ive been hooked to them ever since I came across them months ago. I love you guys. Be weird. Be rude. Stay alive.

. Some episodes aren't closed cases, makes the listener feel like they've wasted time - star. . Character development isn't memorable, many of the characteristics are revealed midway, till them they're just names in your imagination - star. . Ads are painfully kept midway, if you're trying to sleep while listening the ads just disturb you if you want to skip them - stars.

1. Very good podcast - If you want to listen to true crime from the perspective of law enforcement, this is perhaps the best podcast you can get. Both narrators have clear voices and are able to express themselves very well. Since, the hosts have law enforcement backgrounds, they have more connections to police officers and lawyers. Some of their stories have the commentary of the investigating officers, which is rare in podcasting.

release date: 2022-12-22
1. New Title - Preachi - Gyaan of India? - I discovered this Podcast sometime during the pandemic and it was so well researched and eloquently narrated. I remember my wife and I used to listen to few of the initial episodes on our long drives and at times were scared passing through secluded areas while listening to the content. But lately, I just can’t seem to listen to the content anymore. The Tinder crime episode was the last straw. The ladies used to tangent off to different social topics in the past as well which was bearable to an extent given the production quality and the efforts they put in and it indeed felt like a tangent/digression. But now it feels like they (or maybe because it is just Sneha now?) first have a social message they want to deliver and then pick a case to talk about. Maybe change the genre to Preaching/ Summit the Moral Peak etc.
2022-12-07
2. Not long before this podcast dies up. - Aditi is the only person keeping this podcast alive. Sneha’s disgust towards everything Indian in general is irrational. Aditi should understand she’s better and doesn’t need to hate the world people like her way of narration. Sneha on the other hand should come at peace with the world its not everyone’s fault that you clearly had bullying issues as a kid.
2022-11-26
3. Very Unprofessional - I’ve been listening to a lot of crime podcasts lately and stumbled upon Khooni and I had some really high expectations. After just listening to one episode, i was really put off by the callous and unprofessional attitude that the two hosts had towards both the victims as well as the perpetrators. I personally felt that the narrators were really cynical towards and often called them “stupid” which I found insanely disrespectful and disgusting. Also the sheer amount of trash talk and victim bashing is very sad to listen to as anyone can be a victim of a crime. Another very jarring thing was that the narrators kept recounting personal stories that did not really add any value to the podcast and just broke the flow of the incidents. The only redeeming quality is that the podcast is very well researched and the crimes they talk about are quite interesting. If the podcast is to be successful, the narrators will need to be much more professional and respectful to both the victims and the criminals (because at the end of the day even they are humans and can be treated with basic humaneness)
2022-08-25
4. One of the best true crime podcasts - I genuinely enjoy this podcast so so much cuz it’s narrated in a fun more lively way, not in a serious manner. And believe me this is the best way to listen to a true crime podcast. Aditi and Sneha indulge in some off-topic talks and that is what I LOVE about Khooni. It’s as if they’re right in front of you. I am hearing it for the second time now cuz I am ADDICTED to it. I love how humorous they are, especially when they accidentally give us a tutorial on murder!!! (It’s a joke ofc). They’re the coolest lawyersss ever. Baddies for sure. Also this show is good for teenagers (im almost btw)

5. Khooni entertainment! - I cannot believe being a crime enthusiast I have not listened to you guys before! My bad Sneha and Aditi I Love the show! Love the crimes…. Ahem I mean loved the recounting of the crimes! On a serious note do listen to this crime podcast. The girls have done immense research on each incident and have narrated it so well! I found the show gripping and entertaining. I do enjoy it when you guys talk about yourself and life in general… it makes the show less macabre .. oh and I love sneha’s gaali, adds a bit of masala to the show! Keep it going! You have made Hyderabad proud ( I am a hyderabadi) and I am sure Aditi has done the same for Lucknow.

6. The makers don’t know what they want the show to be - I am a massive fan of true crime podcasts and got very excited about a genuinely Indian true crime podcast that could match up to old-standing favourites like the Serial and True Crime Garage. While the attempts by the hosts deserve a pat on the back, what really ruins the whole experience is the overt politicisation of almost every episode. While I do tend to agree with some of their politics, if I wanted to listen to politics, I would listen to another podcast. Mostly because most of the political remarks are superficial and without any real research. Casual remarks thrown here and there which don’t really add to the story, just sound like fillers to add to the run time. I do understand that making a true crime podcast in India is very difficult due to the paucity of reliable information, but the people behind the show need to do a lot more work. Also, the sound quality needs to improve.

7. What a find! - Kautuk recommended your podcast on TISS and let me tell you, I’m hooked. I only listen to podcasts before sleeping but for you, I’ve been making an exception as I just can’t get enough (even though it’s hampering my work a little ).
You guys are amazing. Don’t ever stop doing this. x (Pls be more regular )

8. just what i was looking for ! - so good! i stumbled upon this when i had to cut down my screen time due to migraine. such a good listen! i’ve been binging for the last - days! the intensive research y’all do for every episode is commendable. this podcast series is real good. can’t wait for more !

9. Eye opener - It’s great to see a show that generates political awareness along with the entertainment and podcast factor.
They try to portray crimes in a candid way.
People are protesting of why being political and stuff. But we do need that, youth often gets misguided by multiple agendas and Sneha & Aditi show us the political side, not favouring any govt but letting people know who went wrong and where!
Kudos to you two!!

10. Some Quality, Some Really Insensitive Content - I was made to give a -star review earlier in good faith, but to be honest to myself, after actually listening, here is the edit: I had the stomach to listen to only a couple of episodes, and it's not the subject itself but the treatment that's nauseating. At first, it seemed that one of the hosts mostly brings the nuance of legal speak, political context, and another treats this podcast literally like a joke, a clickbait, and merely juicy stories of victims who can be dehumanized. But more importantly, quite a few "criminals" as well as victims they have focused on are the underprivileged -- what's pathetic is, the hosts (both lawyers, apparently) joke about these people's circumstances: for example, a poor rural mother leaving her baby at school is met with a "duh", a -yr-old child criminal is ridiculed with a "Wah, what an accomplishment", and a Mumbai slum dweller is mocked for entering the drug business as if it's an obvious or easy choice for this section of people. With lawyers like these, who needs the police! If privileged savarna lawyers laughing at criminalization-vs-victimization of the poor and oppressed castes is your taste, then go for it.

11. Amazing podcast, even better hosts! - I have been recommending this to all my friends because the True Crime junkie within me has been elated ever since I found out about it. The sincerity in research reflects Sneha and Aditi’s love for True Crime. The cases they have covered also show a pattern of behaviour within our government and policing system, and with their sceptical gaze they made me question the foundations of our system. I’m so glad that I found this podcast. I binged all the episodes in days, and now I regret it. I have already started listening to them once again, and can’t wait for the new episodes!

12. Less political talk - I'm gonna keep it pretty short girls! I love ya podcast, but every now&then you make these subtle to harsh remarks on the present government and it sort of snaps me out the flow of the episode. Its not my place to tell you what to say or “not say” on your podcast but toning down the trash talk would be appreciated. Thank you for wonderful episodes and keep up the good work. PS: I'll try n buy your merch

13. A crime podcast- but relaxing - I am a big true crime fan, and have come across Khooni during lockdown on Spotify. It is just mind blowing !! it’s like a therapy to me. Voice of both Sneha and Aditi has some magic the way they put their words and the way they explain each thing makes you feel as if we are actually seeing the crime happening. Trust me I am not even exaggerating. Overall just love the show. And I am so happy that they came up with season . Also I was waiting for my iPhone to arrive, so I can review them on Apple podcast. Keep going guys! Thank you for keeping us entertained.

14. One True Crime Podcast to rule them all - To be honest, this is my first True Crime podcast. I’ve had brief brushes with the genre over the years but this is perhaps the first time I’ve tripped over myself to stream the next episode the moment the last one ended. And that’s because of the hosts, Sneha and Aditi. Their incisive approach to the genre, along with deeply enriching and in-depth knowledge thanks to their background in law, makes Khooni a unique experience amongst a sea of similar podcasts. I usually listen to podcasts while cooking, and thanks to Khooni, the time I spend cooking has become a rather bloody affair. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. It goes without saying that I’ve been looking forward to Season of the pod, and you will too. Because if you’re looking for the best True Crime podcast in India, you’ve just found it.

15. Amazing! - As someone who has a very unhealthy obsession of true crime, I always wanted to listen more about the Indian scenario. So thank you guys! This is a tremendous podcast, your research so thorough and love how you guys maintain the whole thing light hearted despite the grave nature of the podcast. Kudos, you guys!

16. Brilliant podcast - This podcast delivers exactly what I think any great true crime podcast should. Interesting cases, facts based approach, and no nonsense delivery. The hosts, Aditi and Sneha, are so incredibly sincere that it’s heartwarming. I’ve heard every single episode and I cannot wait for the next season!

17. The best desi true crime podcast! I’m hooked. - Aditi and Sneha are damn good. The cases are well researched and presented in a very articulate manner. What I love is the tidbits of law proceeding knowledge that they give us. It has piqued my interest in learning more about the Indian criminal justice system.
2020-10-12
18. Unnecessary political and communal comments - While the stories are okay and some of them are not heard of, there is a desperate attempt to make communal and political statements which has no liaison with the stories. Baseless allegations on the govt and demeaning of Indian cops and their hard work. Most ridiculous comment by far is ‘India and US are most insensitive to minorities’ Sad plight, considering that the narrators (lawyers by profession) should have at least considered the plight of minorities in our neighbouring countries before awarding Indian with such disgrace. Really disappointed with this podcast.

19. The best true crime podcast - Now its been almost a month since i have been listening to KHOONI- crimes of india on spotify.
And everytime when i listen to your new episode i get chills down my whole spine.
Its like all of the gangster movies are inspired frm real life stories.
All of them are so fact based with proper sources and show notes.
I hope that u both keep giving us with these shows..
Best wishes frm Jodhpur
