3. Unbelievably Awesome - This is one of the greatest podcasts I’ve come across till day. The depth of his understanding against each of these philosophies, the unbiased approach towards the conflicting ideas is something to greatly cheer for. He could make Chiron and Nietzsche sound cheery and hopeful. Definitely recommended.

5. The most engaging and truly amazing podcasts I have ever listened to!!!! - I listened to the first podcast about Isaiah Berlin a couple of weeks back and boy am I on a spree! No fuss, no muss, no jibber jabber of any kind yet utterly interesting; basically, anything BUT boring! These podcasts are in such detail yet they never feel like a rambling lecture, plus the personal anecdotes and references made here in good amount makes it such a pleasure to listen. I started doing more and more of my house chores like dishes laundry and cleaning because I get an excuse to listen to this while doing so . It might seem like a podcast about philosophy but one learns a little bit of so much in every episode. I am so grateful to people like you who not only create amazing content like this but also make it so convenient and easily accessible to people literally all around the world. Keep up the good work you are doing a very good job. Thanks

And i look forward to many more episodes. Thank you for your time and effort Stepthen. I hope you know that your content is much appriciated.

7. Philosophy at its best, worth every minute - You seek knowledge and what to learn more about philosophy? This is the podcast you should absolutely give a listen and subscribe to. In depth and where the topic doesn’t gets dragged along. It will make you learn and question more and look deep into our society. Absolutely worth your time.

8. Admirable effort, but very narrow - I get what the creator of this podcast is trying to do (and I like the goofy humour!) but this "history" of philosophy suffers from the same failings that all histories of philosophy emerging from the western world have suffered from: they're blind to the complex philosophical systems that emerged in OTHER parts of the world such as in India and China. There are the token episodes on the Buddha & Confucius, but that's all they are- tokens. As an Indian I can say that Buddhism is not India's sole contribution to the field of philosophy. Robust philosophical engagement existed before Buddha challenged the existing order, and it continued after, particularly with systems such as Jainism (which incidentally, heavily influenced Gandhi's worldview, even though he was not raised in a Jain family). If you do want to present a more comprehensive and complex view of philosophical systems that emerged in OTHER parts of the world (often independently of similar systems elsewhere), please bring on guests who can shed light on this. Not all of us trace our philosophical ancestry to the Greeks.

What are you doing with your life? Can anyone show you the way, or must you be a light to yourself? Do we see the urgency of change? One of the greatest spiritual teachers and philosophers of all time, J. Krishnamurti challenges us to question all that we know and discover our true nature in the here and now. 1. Paradigm Shifting! Thanks for making this! - J Krishnamurti is one of a kind. He stands strong and tall on the back of the relentless work he did for decades. He is a spiritual guru who is more cynical than you and meets you with psychology and science instead of leaps of faith. This podcast changed my mind and should be heard by every human being on the planet.

2. Pure joy! - This podcast, is a fabulous show put together by the foundation. The shows format of bringing together relevant portions of his voice from across distinct talks spread throughout his life and works! And carefully curated to represent well chosen themes, especially makes it more accessible, interesting and highly relevant for my listening experience! Although, I have enjoyed reading his books, this podcast in his own voice and spread across time helps me understand and appreciate the essence even better. Thank you for creating this great project!

1. This Podcast have changed my life! - There is not second thought atleast for me this is the best podcast and it have affected my life positively. The only thing I want to improvise the ads. They just break the line of thought. As an individual I won’t mind contributing from monetary aspect. But sorties the long ads just don’t add up.

2. Top content from Top guys - My fav podcast. High quality content in almost every episode. Has helped me a lot in personal life. Is everything I look for in a podcast for my daily commute. For self help , informative content, great stories presented beautifully by curated podcast guests. highly recommend. Brett seems like a genuine chap and produces amazing content. Hope Brett continues doing this!! Best luck

3. Vintage Gyan - Love this podcast. Bret's whisky-smooth baritone blends beautifully with (usually) an intelligent and thoughtful guest. Topics range from finding your inner manhood, to Tolkien's hidden spirituality. I've even heard Samurai Vs Ninja discussion. More importantly, Bret does his homework- he actually reads the books and knows the subject matter. Indispensible listening In a world where morality and manhood is in existential crisis.

4. Art of manliness really teaches you to be a MAN!! - I really love this podcast. I have come across so many noble and great ideas in this podcast. I have come across very simple and unique tips to inculcate in my life which has actually skyrocketed my confidence of how I see myself and as a result I can see the change in how others perceive me. Must listen for all men of all ages. We deserve an age of true and noble men with values and morals and even style and art of manliness provides us with all raw materials to do so !!!!!
2017-04-07
5. Wide range and great depth - This is a great place to encounter new ideas and be blessed with many moments of epiphany. Even those episodes that are about topics that are generally far away from my sphere of interests, contain interesting insights that are definitely valuable in any man's life. Each episode is also a lesson in frugality!

Mythology is often categorized as a passé and an uncool subject. The younger audiences in India consume a very large amount of content on a regular basis, but mythological content is definitely not their go to choice. 1. Nice but.... - I love listening Devdutt , but this particular show has too many breaks / ads which eventually ruined the whole flow.. I can understand this being the original radio show along with songs and other ads, but it should have been optimised for the podcast version. My rating for Devdutt is / but for the overall listening / podcast experience /.

Are we, in some sense, immortal? Would immortality be desirable? Also a clearer notion of what it is to die is examined. What does it mean to say that a person has died? What kind of fact is that? And, finally, different attitude...
