1. Amazing way to Learn about Global Affairs n History - This is my favorite podcast specially given their style of talking of global affairs, trend , tough question , and even historical topics. I love how the conversation is data backed and present every subject with point of view from different people.
2022-04-28
2. Look forward to it every week - If there’s one thing I look forward every week , it’s Freakonomics new episode. True to its name, Stephen Dubner is the first one to come out with a concern first be opioid addiction, Political Duopoly and others.
Not only the topic, but the way S.D presents a topic, Keeps you engaged , I’m yet to find another podcast like this one ....
2020-12-06
3. So informative - I never write a review, but this podcast is so good that I am compelled to write a review. I believe that it’s one of the best podcasts there is, extremely informative and interesting. The facts and figures provided along with a new take on things we ignore on a daily basis keeps you engaged. Coming from an economics background maybe this review is a little biased but the way the things are simplified it should be easy for everyone to understand the episodes of this podcast.

4. You always learn something new - Stephen often asks insightful questions about the topic he’s covering which make me think about the issue in a different way (which is awesome). That said, while his interviews are often very well done, I think he goes a little too easy on his guests and takes too much of what they say at face value. This is especially apparent in his david koch and mark zuckerberg interviews (and the CEO interviews in general). I would like to see a little more adversarial journalism from him in order to avoid business leaders just using his excellent podcast as a PR platform for their companies.
2018-09-22
5. Above and beyond every other podcast - This is that one podcast which for me is above and beyond every single other podcast I am subscribed to! I wait for every single episode of theirs... and when there is one and I get that notification, I literally have to listen to it. First.. even if it means interrupting the podcast episode of any other show I may have partially listened to. Thank you so much for enlightening our lives!
2018-02-08
6. Could be better as your books and write ups were great. - The research on the subjects seems to be a little less detail. Just to quote an example. In sleep economics where you compared different ethnic backgrounds to discuss sleep patterns you ignored religion and culture. In chennai India there was an experiment conducted by your source. However the findings aren't an exact reference as religion and cultural belief is ignored. Hindus and Muslims in India are early risers due to their religious rituals and night owl or early bird is irrelevant.
2016-06-14
7. Perception changing & insightful... - The Freakonomics team continues to drive paradigm shifts to people's perceptions. This podcast will be a difficult swallow to people who consider themselves as wine connoisseurs, but a delightful drink to the average Joe that enjoys drinking wine or is in the process of developing a taste for it. In either case, a must hear as the former stand to gain quite a few $s with the advice and the latter a satisfying experience.
