3. Whattay! - Maed In India fills a deep deep void in my life. If you’re as old as I am and miss being able to listen to the radio, you will know that void well. RadioCity Bangalore and Radio Voyager on WorldSpace were things I took for granted, back in the late ’s and early ’s. Little did I know the price ageing elitists like me would pay for turning our noses up at ‘commercial’ Bollywood. Radio now, is Punjabi songs an hour with a grand total of two themes: an Arijit-clone crying or a Badshah-clone over-compensating. And suddenly, out of the blue, I discovered Mae. Indian Indie, the curation, and the stories. This podcast is nearly perfect. Mae’s personality and the work the team puts in goes a long way. It is such a pity that podcast discovery is so difficult. I wish I’d found it sooner. I’m going to be singing praises and coaxing all my friends to give it a listen.

He seems to have lost interest in Punjabi. What impression his listeners will take from him.
