1. One of the best DT albums - DT is one of the few bands who even after producing high quality music for such a long time still manage to better themselves. The Astonishing is a proof of their skill and how as a band they can go where very few bands can. Generally you get hooked to couple of songs from an album but like other DT greats this is one of these albums where you want to listen to each and every song multiple times. Since buying this I must have listened end to end latest times. There is a story no doubt that unfolds quite beautifully and and musical wizardy of Jon Petrucci, Jordan Rudess and James LaBrie is unfolded on you. While James has done a tremendous job of giving voice to characters , The music takes you to the scene without being a copy of earlier DT stuff.

1. An Amazing Sonic Experience - An awesome album. A monumental accomplishment, as far as debut albums go. Packed with music that is captivating and masterful. The vocals soar and enthral, the guitars FLOW along with wonderful riffs and the bass and drums are a ride! Months have passed by, and this album still sounds so fresh and enriching. One of the best albums I've heard in ages. Glorious!

1. Amazing album! - This album is one of Opeth's finest. A mix of hard, metal sounds as well as very melodic mellow parts. The music of Opeth takes you on a journey. The centre track- Burden is an absolute masterpiece, but in order to appreciate the actual depth and theme of the album, one should listen to it whole in one go. A must-have for anyone who likes to listen to progressive rock music!

1. Iron Maiden Still at Peak in - This is not an s album but this is the pinnacle of what Maiden have been trying to achieve in the post reunion era. This is the most number of Steve Harris songs we have had in a long time and he has produced some masterpieces. The Parchment has some beautiful riffs and hypnotic vocal lines and six guitar solos! It is one more gem that Harris has added to long list of classics. Hell on Earth is so damn good it sends you to that next level of euphoric state that Maiden fans are familiar with. Really powerful riffs and one of the most memorable Iron Maiden choruses of all time with some emotional, meaningful lyrics. If this is to be the last album, Hell on Earth is a worthy song to end this beyond legendary discography with. There’s not a single bad song on the album. Death of the Celts is Clansman part but has its own identity. The Time Machine has one of the most euphoric moments on the album that will make the crowd go crazy live. The title song sounds different from anything Maiden but is an epic in the true sense of the word. There are a couple of short, fast ones in Stratego and Days of Future Past. There’s a slower ballad with beautiful solos from Adrian and Dave in The Darkest Hour. Nicko sounds phenomenal on the drums. Bruce still has it and although his voice strains on the highest bits, he adds more versatility to his singing than before. Adrian is on fire on this album and Dave also has some really good solos. Janick has his moments to shine too.

1. By far the strongest release by behemoth - This has to be one the best releases this year. Inferno's drumming is absolutely spectacular. One of the best things about this album is its production, the use of horns and other orchestral instruments really adds a whole another dimension to this record. HAIL Behemoth!! Hail Nergal!
