1. Damn Good album better than the ones released by Sana very recently - The album is too good, filled ARR’s lost magic. Its been ages since Thalaivar’s movies had a different score.. Last it was Vidyasagar, Chandramukhi a full fledge thalaivar movie which had a different rendition all together. Santhosh should focus more on delivering such experimental music apart from mere commercial ones.. The recent ones were just Okay. Including Kodi/ Baairava.

2. Treat for true rajini fans - Its been long since rajini's film music had the appropriate soundtrack for the storyline, and here santosh has done justice to it.The soundtrack doesn't give the usual spb,theme,intro song etc stuff ! It does the best , and almost songs have great music and gets you to be in loop unknowingly for a very long time ! Thalaivar athiradi to be on screen soon :)

3. The best Rajini movie soundtrack since Padayappa - Since Padayappa, ARR only hit a hight with Shivaji. But that too was an inconsistent album. Santosh Narayanan brings his A-game to the table. And most of all, it's tailor-made for Rajini. Fingers crossed that the songs are picturised as imaginatively.

1. Beauty in the details - Godsend. The beauty of this composition lies in the way love and spirituality form the warp and weft of the fabric called Ranjhanaa. It is intricate, profound, elegant and soulful. My son, all of loves 'Piya Milenge' that he listens to while he plays with his toys. The album is one of the many profound ones from AR that will remain etched in our hearts forever. Loved every song and strongly believe AR perhaps understood the story and the characters better than the way it was depicted in the movie.

2. ARR does the magic again!!! - Another masterpiece from the maestro... A class apart work of classic! All the songs are awesome and distinct. The lyrics deserve equal credit. This music is only going to sound better each time you listen to it! Difficult to pick favorites but Tu Mun Shudi, Tum Tak, Nazar Laye and Piya Milenge are good starters to get started with.

3. Liked most songs! - Primarily will appeal to North Indians, many classical influences, I feel... an album that reflects the movie closely... Indian arrangements are lovely -ARR back in his innovative zone in Hindi- thanks to Anand Rai for allowing that. -Really wish the Meluha like ' Land of Shiva' piece was much longer, it was gorgeous. -My picks: Title track, Tum tak, Nazar layena, Banarasiya.... - After listening to all tracks my favourite , unlikely as it seems is Ay Sakhi... for Irshad Kamil, Madhushree, for the sheer sound and voice quality and the beats (ghatam?? Wonder what else??) . The song is on loop for days.

4. Ranjhnaa hua mein tera.... - What can one say...this album is what Rahman fans have been praying for since very long time. Tum tak track transports you to varanasi and you can literally feel as if the lights lamps are slowly getting ignited like a beginning of aarti on the Ganga ghats :)... Raanjhnaa track has so much emotion wrapped in its beats...its difficult to escape the flow of emotions....piye milenge has rahman and sukhwinder singh back in action after a long time and yes they recreate magic yet again....banarasiya is good...i loved shreya ghoshals voice....in fact voice supports the song very rare for an ar rahman composition....nazar laaye na..well neeti mohan voice is refreshing and lovely to listen....tu mun shudi....rabbi and rahman rock together....all an all great album...arr rocks :)

5. Music Redefined. - This is one of ARR's most comprehensive, innovative and experimental albums. After some time, these brilliant songs just grow over you and you just can't get over them. Hats off to such an outstanding music composer and producer. From the peppy title track to a beautiful sufi "Piya Milenge", this album has it all! [I'm sure Rahman is all set to receive all of this year's 'Best Music Director' awards.]

Awesome is a small word for this album ...it's simply out of this worl exp.. - The songs are brillantly crafted to perfection... songs like "Tu Mun Shudi" is really out of this world ... first time I heard the song I got goose bumps ... it's total madness ... even the sufi song Piya milenge which has essence of western fusion ... this album could only be made by a God and that's AR Rahman sir...Thank you itunes for providing us with this brillant composition.

1. Gerua and then fizzles out - Gerua is awesome but post that the album just fizzles out. Janam Janam strikes a chord but Dayare is Saanwre ( from Phantom) rehashed. Tukur Tukur tries valiantly but Manma emotion is better on screen with Varun dancing and the less said about the soulless Premika the better.

2. stars for gems like songs from A R R - Showkali - Futuristic Rap track with multiple Layering of instrumentation and orchestration by AR. ADK and Sri Raskol has given the trendy voice over for this rap version which is mindblowing already. The techno beats and the high pitched music graph in the end for few seconds is brilliantly done by AR. Idhu Naal Varayil - Hosanna of AYM easily. Aditya Rao with his irky voice this beautiful track of freshness leads us to trance with a feel of love and breeze all over it. Overall a Feel good husky number. Rasaali - the fusion of tamil traditional poem music and westernised music and lyrics has blended so well out to be an amazing melody and road trip kind of travel song in AR style. Sathya and Shasha done justice as well. Overall a breezy melody with little fusion of two contrasting genre. Avalum Naanum - Easily the best of the album. Lyrical play, those flute interludes blending with violin pieces are exotic 's touch by AR. Vijay sustaining vocal tempo of almost the same level to the whole song equally to the tune was exhilarating. One of the best melodies with best lyrics in a song in recent times after VTV, yet again for GVM from AR is no wonder but very surprising by seeing the charm AR still has in him. Thalli Pogathey- Instant Chartbuster kind of trend setting track of this decade can easily be said by going the history it already created. Sid and AR strings play with so so addictive tune is just out of the world. Overall AYM album is full on . Blockbuster HIT Album yet again for GVM after VTV. Only worry is we got only songs :( Worth Every penny you spend on this. So classy and will live in your playlist for ages! - Sathya Rahmaniac.

1. Refreshing!! - Up until this album Anirudh's music has been nothing but noise to my ears. I pretty much wrote this guy off, as in decided not to pay too much attention to his music. Then this album comes along. My initial reaction was, "This cannot be him. He hired a ghostwriter!" Skepticism aside, this is the best album from Anirudh till date. The melodies, singing and most important, the arrangement by Ananthakrrishnan and the composer himself is brilliant!!
